Thick winter clothing prevents the seat belt from fitting snugly round the child’s body. The softly lined ABC Design footmuff keeps your baby comfortably warm during winter journeys without compromising the protective harness systems functionality.It was specially designed for use in car seats.

The footmuff can also be used as a cosy inlay for the prams carrycot.

Built-in slots for the belt guide allow the harness system to be securely attached. The footmuff is then closed over the belt by means of the zipper up the middle.

The hood can be adjusted via a drawstring and thus optimally protects your babys sensitive head against cold and draughts.

The foot area can be opened separately. Cuddled up in the ABC Design footmuff, little ones can enjoy a comfortable and safe journey even in the cold season.

450 years. That’s how long it takes for a PET bottle to decompose in nature, where it remains as microplastic. In Europe alone, every year millions of tonnes of plastic are thrown away as a matter of course. According to estimates 4.8 to 12.7 million tonnes of plastic waste end up in our oceans every year, which is the equivalent to about one truckload per minute. By 2050 there will be more plastic swimming in the sea than fish if things stay as they are. But it requires change and action. For our environment, for our children, for our future.

Prams made from PET bottles

With ABC’s “nature”, “midnight”, and “cream” designs, they are taking a stand against plastic waste. The high-quality fabrics of these designs are based on the future-oriented recycling of PET bottles. For the production of one single pram, up to 100 PET bottles are being recycled. But how does a simple plastic bottle become a chic fabric for the pram?

To produce the fabrics, the collected PET bottles are first thoroughly cleaned, shredded and melted down into granules. The granules are then processed into polyester fibres and spun into a high-quality yarn. This is then woven into the fabrics that make up our sustainable designs
